My name is Katrina Clark (she/her). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trained EMDR therapist. Originally from Hawaii, I moved to Portland
in 2017. Since a young age I was aware that I wanted
to be a helpful resource for others. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University and I have experience providing counseling to a diverse range of clients.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that we are all resilient and each of us has unique strengths. I work with clients to build on these strengths, increase their insight and support them in achieving their goals. In our sessions, I utilize warmth, compassion, and a holistic lens, viewing the mind-body-spirit connection
as integral in understanding who you are as a whole person. We will work together to create a space that cultivates self-acceptance, deep emotional healing,
and enriching relationships.
Aside from being a therapist, I am also a veteran, a wife and a mother. I enjoy running and hiking with my pup labrador, reading and spending time with my family. I also value therapy as part of my own healing journey. I believe that we are able to access our own authentic wisdom when we feel safe and heard by someone who honors all of who we are and I’m excited to share that space with you.
